Event Overview & Architectural Focus
Celebrating Developer Culture in Accra
DevFest Accra is one of the largest grassroots developer conferences in West Africa, bringing together engineers, UI/UX designers, and open-source enthusiasts.
For student developers looking to launch their tech careers, DevFest is the premier venue to meet senior peers, ask architectural questions, and understand what hiring teams value.
Key Sessions to Watch - **Modern Full-Stack Patterns**: Moving from traditional monolithic servers to modern Next.js and distributed edge functions. - **Career Positioning**: Overcoming the junior developer hiring crunch by building proof-of-work open-source tools. - **Event Systems**: Demonstrations on how platforms like [Z-Events](https://z-events.zoharix.tech) handle concurrency during ticket drops.
